The Music Matters
Here's my two cents on one place to spend your bridal booty— the entertainment. That's what people will remember (along with the tangible amour shared between you and your betrothed). I remember dancing till my feet almost bled (where was that Blister Elixer when I needed it?) at more than a few receptions where either the band rocked it or the DJ knew what he (and it tended to be men for whatever reason) was doing. I couldn't tell you about the food, the cake (and I'm a dessert fiend!) or the flowers. I remember the couple, the guests and the party. Think about your own experience. What do you remember most from weddings you've attended? Anyway, along those lines, we couldn't have been happier with the band we chose, the Steve Edwards Orchestra. They ROCK! And we have the dance pictures to prove it featuring not only our fun friends, but all our relatives and co-workers getting in on the action. The band got the crowd involved, providing something for everyone without ever losing its energy or its edge. Our engaged friends agree and some booked the band for their weddings and we got to dance some more! For more information, call 312-391-2698.

Hands Down the Best Wedding Band I've Ever Heard
These guys were jaw-droppingly good. My wife and I were half-seriously considering renewing our vows just so we could hear these musicians go at it again. There were so many little things that made them special. During one break, the guitarist (Steve Edwards) camped out on the edge of the stage with an classcal guitar and lit up the crowd with a breathtakingly beautiful solo performance. It was surprising and thrilling that he could do that AND rock the house. When it was time to go home, the crowd still wanted to dance, so they just kept at it. You can tell when people are just phoning it in, going through the paces, and I see it all the time. But the band members were grinning ear to ear, having as much fun as we were. Perfectly paced, wonderfully complimentary performance for our friend's wedding. Check them out.
